`You must understand this, that in the last days distressing times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, brutes, haters of good,

FLASH NEWS …

SELFIEVILLE USA (CR News) — A young adult is in Selfie Memorial Hospital this evening with a fractured jaw and a broken nose after falling into a water fountain in the middle of the Smartphone Mall today. Mall officials tell us that camera footage showed she was texting as she walked through the mall. Apparently, she did not see the 18 foot fountain nor hear the water splashing in it.

Let’s talk.

BACKGROUND …

A growing body of information from social scientists reveals that many young people these days primarily interact with other humans using a screen. At least one young person told us that she lives to make “tik-tok videos” and dreams of going viral some day.

NITTY GRITTY …

According to the Bible, in the last days before Jesus returns, a great number of people will become “lovers of themselves.” (2 Tim 3:1-3) They will be the most important person in their own lives.

One theology professor said that for the past four years, he has been teaching his students that people whose smart phones and social media mostly have pictures just of themselves are classical “self-lovers.”

The Bible warns that many of these people also love money; can be braggers and show-offs; are arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and unholy; and generally despise things that are good,

Of course, those traits will certainly lead almost any person to make many bad decisions, which will further embitter them.

When quizzed by our news team about a solution to this grave problem, the professor said, “Conversion!”

Our professor friend told us, we cannot rely on elections. We cannot expect lasting contributions from politicians or judges either. We cannot count too heavily on our military or police. The mainstream media is largely untrustworthy. The economy is uncertain, and money won’t fix anything for very long. World peace is tenuous. And that’s just the start of our problems. There’s only one direction to cast our eyes if we want lasting hope.

Jesus told His disciples, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (Jn 14:6) He added, “No one comes to the Father except through me.”

“Jesus is not just our best hope,” the professor said. “He is our only hope!:

According to the professor, conversion of the soul is what will save people in this great time of crisis. And those who do not convert will surely perish. He urged us to tell everyone we know to start praying for a colossal global conversion.

OUR STORY …

That’s our story and we’re sticking to it.

THE NEXT STEP …

Whether you believe that we have been given warnings from heaven and are soon facing a great chastisement in our world or not, most of our readers would agree that there are big problems in the world. There is something seriously wrong with the direction we are going.

The time for change is now. The time for conversion is at hand. It’s time for people of faith to pray for a global conversion.

The next move is yours. If you have not been seeking the Kingdom of God, it’s time to start. (Mt 6:33) If you are a person of faith, pray now for others who are still blind to the truth around them.

You decide. It’s your life. The next move is your move. What will you do?

Vivat Jesus!
