This Sunday …
This Sunday will be the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Liturgical Year is rapidly drawing to a close, and the new Church year is a favorite time for so many of our brothers and sisters. But enough of that — we still have ”business” to attend to in this Liturgical Year.
This coming Sunday, thanksgiving also happens to be an important theme. Jesus equates thanksgiving to faith. That’s all we’ll say for now. To hear the rest of the story, you have to attend mass and listen carefully to the homily.
Caricature Catechist …
Our guest ”Caricature Catechist” this week is Fr. John Britto. Fr. John is on the ministry team at Holy Trinity Cluster Parish. Holy Trinity is located in Orangeburg SC, but it serves several Catholic communities between the Midlands and the Lowcountry.
In addition to attending mass this Sunday, be sure to pray for Fr. John. And don’t forget to pray for your parish priest(s) too.
