In Just Three Days

Our Story …

There is a connection between being happy and being blessed. We are blessed to be happy, and we can experience true happiness in the blessings of our faith.

It Is Written …

The Bible records an amazing sermon preached by Jesus on the side of a hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee. It is known as the “Sermon on the Mount” (Matt 5-7). The sermon begins with a series of “blesseds.” In this series, Jesus proclaims different types of people who will receive special blessings in eternity. Here’s the key …

The word “blessed” in this context roughly translates into our word “happy.” But, of course, it gives a whole, new meaning to being happy. Jesus is saying that a happy soul is more than a soul that smiles or has a little fun for the moment. The truly happy soul is actually blessed. And to be blessed means to be happy.

Life Goes On …

The practical application in all this is to focus on true happiness (blessings) today. In fact, do it for the next three days — three days in a row. Seek Christ and His Kingdom (Mt 6:33). Know who He is (Mk 8:27-29). And be willing to let Him change who you are (Mt 16:18).

Jesus changed everything forever in just three days. He can work some great miracles with you in just three days too. But He won’t do it against your will. If you want to see your life change for the better, ask Jesus to work a miracle in your life.
